Bodyweight dips are one of the most effective forms of bodyweight exercise. It’s a compound movement which has little range of motion which primarily targets your triceps adding both strength and muscle mass. As well as hitting your triceps, this movement will also target your upper chest, forearms and shoulders. You’ll use these muscle to stabilise yourself throughout the exercise.
Undertaking a tricep dip is far superior to a push up as you use your whole bodyweight as opposed to just a fraction and by incorporating these in to your upper body workouts you’ll quickly see an increase in your strength and pleasing shape to your physique.

Using a thick grip will provide you with great support to your wrists and forearms while our angled incline position allows you to lean into the dip putting additional tension on the triceps and the inward angled position helps to take stress off your shoulders during heavy dips.
