Challenges with Deliveries to Narrow Roads

Important Notice for Customers with Narrow Roads:

If your delivery address is located on a narrow road that may limit truck access, this could affect our ability to deliver large items directly to your door. In such cases, alternative delivery arrangements may be required. To help us provide the best service:

  • Notify Us in Advance: If your road is narrow or has restricted access, please inform our customer service team as early as possible.
  • Plan for Alternative Arrangements: Be ready to coordinate an accessible drop-off point where our vehicle can safely unload your items.

Note: Additional charges may apply if special delivery methods or alternative arrangements are necessary. We will inform you of any extra costs before proceeding with delivery.


Dispatch Dates vs. Delivery Dates

Key Differences Explained:

  • Dispatch Date: The date your order leaves our warehouse. You will receive an email notification once your order has been dispatched.
  • Delivery Date: The estimated date your order will arrive at your specified address. This depends on your location and the shipping method chosen.

Important Points to Remember:

  • Processing Time: Orders are processed and dispatched on business days (Monday to Friday). Orders placed during weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
  • Shipping Options: We offer various shipping methods, and delivery timelines will vary based on your selection.

Ownership of Goods
Ownership of products remains with Fitness Warehouse until the customer has paid the full agreed price, along with any outstanding amounts for other products under separate contracts with Fitness Warehouse. Fitness Warehouse retains the right to reclaim possession of goods for which title has not transferred. This right may be exercised if the customer is unable to meet payment obligations as they fall due.

To enforce this, the customer grants Fitness Warehouse, its representatives, and agents an irrevocable right to access their premises, with or without vehicles, during normal business hours and beyond if necessary. Fitness Warehouse also reserves the right to redistribute reclaimed products.


Claims
To ensure prompt resolution of issues, please adhere to the following guidelines for claims:

  • Shortages, Damages, or Discrepancies: Any issues with received goods must be reported in writing to Fitness Warehouse within 7 days of receipt, including a copy of the packaging list.
  • Lost Goods: Claims for goods lost in transit must be submitted within 7 days of the dispatch date indicated on the Fitness Warehouse invoice.
  • Claims submitted after these timeframes cannot be considered.

Return of Goods
Products may only be returned under the following conditions:

  1. The items were not specially ordered or custom-made.
  2. Prior telephone authorization is obtained within 14 days of receipt.
  3. Returned items must reach Fitness Warehouse within 14 working days of authorization.

Additional Requirements:

  • Include the delivery note or invoice number with the return.
  • Goods must be in their original packaging, clean, and in resalable condition.

Return Costs and Handling Fees:

  • Customers are responsible for return postage and packaging unless the goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied.
  • A handling fee of 20% (minimum £10 + VAT) will apply to all non-faulty returns.
  • If the original packaging is damaged, an additional flat fee of £2.50 + VAT will be charged for repackaging.
